The Couple

From two different worlds—Sri Lanka and the Philippines—we found each other in the stunning
Maldives, where our hearts first intertwined. Despite our different nationalities, cultures, and
languages, love transcended all barriers.
In this fourth year, we’ve embraced our differences, blending traditions and creating a beautiful life
together. Each moment has been a celebration of our diverse backgrounds, and I am grateful for
every adventure we’ve shared.

A Love Across Borders

Shara

Shara Mona C. Salarde, was born on April 2, 1993, and raised in the Philippines. I come from a family of six,
including my mother, father, two sisters, and one younger brother.
After 20 years of marriage, my parents decided to part ways and move forward with their lives. This transition was significant, particularly as I had always seen my father as a constant presence. Despite the challenges, my
family and I learned to adapt and support one another during this time.

Rienzie

Don Gerard Rienzie Seneviratne, was born on July 26, 1989, and raised in beautiful Sri Lanka. I have a wonderful family of five, including my father, mother, one sister, and one brother. As the eldest son, I’ve always
felt a sense of responsibility to lead by example and support my siblings.
Growing up in a close-knit family instilled in me the values of love, respect, and hard work. My parents
emphasized the importance of education, shaping my aspirations and character. We shared countless memories
that strengthened our bond, from family gatherings to adventures that filled our home with joy.
